The role of teachers in the learning process no longer appears as an educator (teacher), as a prominent function for this but the switch as a coach (coach), coach (counselor) and as manager of learning (learning manager) this is appropriate role and functions of a period to educators which will come as a coach, should encourage learners to master the multi-media and provide motivation to work harder to achieve high performance and help students appreciate the value of learning and knowledge.

1. Formulating learning objectives appropriately.
By understanding the psychology of an adequate education is expected teachers will be more precise in determining the form of the desired behavior change as a goal of learning. For example, by trying to apply Bloom's thoughts about the taxonomy of individual behavior and relate it to theories of individual development.
2. Choosing strategies or teaching methods accordingly.
By understanding the psychology of an adequate education teachers expected to determine the strategy or method of learning the proper and appropriate, and able to relate to the characteristics and uniqueness of the individual, the type of learning and learning styles and levels of development being experienced students.
3. Provide guidance or even provide counseling.
Duties and role of teachers, in addition to carrying out the learning, is also expected to guide their students. By understanding the psychology of education, we expect teachers to provide psychological assistance appropriately and correctly, through a process of interpersonal relations of warmth and intimacy.
4. Facilitate learning and motivate learners.
Facilitating means trying to develop all potential students, such as talent, intelligence and interests. While trying to motivate can be interpreted to give encouragement to students to perform certain acts, particularly acts of learning. Without a proper understanding of educational psychology, it seems that teachers will find it difficult to manifest itself as a facilitator and motivator of student learning.
5. Creating a conducive learning climate.
The effectiveness of learning requires the existence of a conducive learning climate. Teachers with an adequate understanding of educational psychology makes it possible to create socio-emotional climate that is conducive in the classroom, so students can learn with a comfortable and enjoyable.
6. Berinteraksi secara tepat dengan siswanya.
Pemahaman guru tentang psikologi pendidikan memungkinkan untuk terwujudnya interaksi dengan siswa secara lebih bijak, penuh empati dan menjadi sosok yang menyenangkan di hadapan siswanya.
7. Assessing learning outcomes are fair.
Understanding of teachers about educational psychology may be helping with the teacher in developing student learning assessment more equitable, both in the technical assessment, assessment of compliance with the principles and determine the results of assessment.
